Hervorm is the art portfolio of Ties Groen

I’m a 3D artist and recent graduate from the St. Joost School of Art & Design where I studied Illustrated & Animated Storytelling. Here I developed my love for telling and creating intricate stories to an audience, be it in the form of animation or, with my graduation project, a video game.

I started off my creative career studying as a Graphic Designer, working at various agencies along the way. Somewhere during this time I shifted my interests to illustration and animation, which ended up with me focusing on 3D art.

You might wonder: why “Hervorm“? Back when I used to freelance as a graphic designer, I chose this name to represent my practice. In Dutch, it means ‘to reform, to recreate’ which fit perfectly with what I wanted to do at that time. The name just kind of stuck with me ever since!
